You know the saying, “less is more” well, with The Runaways Acoustic Duo that's exactly what you get. More dancing space for you and your guests because we don’t take up much of it,  more value for your money as a duo is much cheaper than a full band, more flexibility in our ability to tailor our live sets to the atmosphere of your event and more opportunity for you guys to sing loud and proud with us.

With Freddie’s live loop pedal skills we can even have the effects of hearing two guitars on stage at the same time, giving the whole performance a much more of a thicker sound.

As one of Surrey’s leading Acoustic Duo’s we pride ourselves on a top musical performance and our ability to be to set up, sound checked and ready to go within 45 minutes. We only require a small amount of space at a minimum of 1m X 3m, and will need to be close to a safe and secure 13amp power socket. 

We like to think that we have everyone covered within our repertoire list, from 1960’s Soul and Motown Classics to current Chart toppers. We love having a varied setlist as it makes it more entertaining for us too. We also like to put the songs in an order that we feel suits our clients events. So we wouldn’t be playing Seventeen Going Under by Sam Fender at a cocktail night, but we might bring out a beautiful jazzy song by Norah Jones or some smooth Al Green.  We also offer all clients one free request with every booking, although we do ask you don’t pick anything too adventurous, I'm not sure how we’d perform any of Wu-Tang Clan’s back catalogue with just the two of us. However if you do really want some hip hop we can always play it via our Spotify DJ between and after our live sets.

We are also very flexible with set timings throughout the day, as we know that things can run late. So if you need your first set at 1:00pm instead of 12:00pm, that's fine with us. We will always do our best to perform as much live music as possible within our booked hours.
